A curator invited me to join MakersPlace, which I did several years ago. That experience was not successful. I tried to encourage them to do a feature on my work, but they never did. They shut down on January 17, 2025, leaving their artists without a sales platform.
I have not signed up with another marketplace. I have submitted an application to SuperRare, but it is very hard to get an invite. Other marketplaces, like OpenSea, are not curated, so it’s relatively easy to sign up. But if there is so much competition for an artist’s feature, you’re just lost in space unless you have a large social media presence as a marketing base, which I do not.
I decided to try the high-end approach. If a banana duct-taped to a wall can sell for $6.2 million, then I have a shot. The ten pieces featured on this site have been minted. I use MetaMask so I can accept ETH. Contact me directly if you are interested in one of my pieces.
